During her time there, she covered several snowstorms and severe high-temperature periods, including tropical cyclones. Concurrently, she also provided forecasts for a 24-hour Caribbean Weather Channel.

In 2009, Scott left WSEE-TV to join the NBC-affiliated station WBIR-TV, located in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her previous experience helped her to become a key person on detailed weather forecasts for the region.
