Whitemoney, the winner of the Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye reality show has admitted that him cooking and being in the kitchen during the show, was a strategy.
He made this known during an official interview with the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, where he talked about his stay on the show.
According to Whitemoney, being in the kitchen started as part of his lifestyle but he decided to also turn it into a strategy.
Speaking on how much of a strategy it was, Whitemoney said cooking was 80% lifestyle and 20% strategy.
Whitemoney said, “It was 80% lifestyle and 20% strategy. 80% lifestyle in the sense that the kitchen, washing the dishes and everything is what I literally do. The strategy comes in the sense that this was my strength.”
Whitemoney caught the interest of many Nigerians from his first week in the Big Brother House because of his consistent cooking for housemates.
At one point, the hairstylist and entrepreneur was caught in a brawl with a fellow housemate, Pere, during the latter’s tenure as Head of House.
Pere had stated that Whitemoney should stop cooking for the housemates and all the housemates should be involved in preparing food.
However, Pere’s perceived humiliation of Whitemoney invariably earned the latter more fans as viewers felt he was a gentleman for not reacting negatively, despite Pere’s repeated acts of aggression.
