Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate Tacha has debunked widespread reports that she was held up by organisers following her eviction from the show.
Tacha, 23, was disqualified last Friday, September 27, after her fierce squabble with fellow housemate Mercy in the house.
However, there were speculations that she’s being held against her will since her disqualification, just because she allegedly refused to go on media tours, and declined an interview with the Big Brother Naija team.
Moments later, a video was shared to Tacha’s Instagram page that saw the reality star addressing the issue. She said that she was doing well and was with her family.
But, many were not convinced after an audio message went viral claiming that Tacha – whose real name is Natacha Akide – was forced to make the video to counter the reports.
The development has compelled the controversial ex-housemate to go on Instagram live to react to the never-ending speculations again.
In the video, she denied being held hostage by Big Brother and explained that her absence from social media was self-imposed as she requested for some time to herself in order to reflect, stating in clear words that Big Brother had nothing to do with it.
“Everything is perfectly fine. I decided to go off for a few days. No one tried to keep me hostage,” said Tacha.
