What are you doing in Lagos, go back to Anambra – NIDCOM Chairman, Abike Dabiri’s aide tells media personality Noble Igwe

Akinsola Akin, Personal Assistant to the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri, engaged in a “heated exchange” with media personality Noble Igwe after he countered a claim against Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi. 

This came after Nairaland founder, Seun Osewa tweeted “My life hasn’t been the same since I read about Peter Obi’s N250m money laundering scandal. Packing large sums of money into suitcases & sneaking them around is associated with crime. I can’t imagine any next gen politician stooping that low. Soludo, NOI, etc would NEVER do that.”

Noble Igwe countered the claim by pointing out that the money was found on Obi’s aide and that the Peoples Democratic Party-controlled house of assembly cleared him of any complicity in the allegation even though he was an All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Governor at the time. 

Igwe tweeted; 

I really love the “ I must find dirt on Peter Obi brigade” I heard they are now calling Peter Obi’s primary school mates to find out if his name was ever written for Noise making in class.

Akinsola who was in the comment section of Igwe’s tweet, talked about Pandora Papers’ story about Peter Obi which has also been cleared by the Labour Presidential candidate. 

After Noble Igwe responded by writing “You are not as smart as you want to handle portray, get someone that read to understand to break down the papers”. Akinsola fired back by writing in now-deleted tweet;

By the way what is an idiot like you doing in Lagos? Go to Anambra where you sit at home on Mondays. At least. Obi once governed Anambra

Reacting to Akinsola’s tweet, Noble Igwe tweeted; 

I’m not in politics , I don’t claim to be and as a matter of fact, I have no interest in politics. However, if these tweets of yours are the reason people pay you, they should know better. Every single person contesting has money overseas

They are always quick to call you an idiot and then,ask you to leave Lagos.

When someone pointed out that Akinsola is Abike Dabiri’s aide, Noble Igwe wrote; 

I didn’t know sef, I did not even insult BAT, didn’t mention him or put him down. I know his boss and it’s sad that such a dull paint job represents her.
