Who is Toni Trucks?
Antoinette Lindsay ‘Toni’ Trucks was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan USA, on 30 September 1980 – her zodiac sign is Libra and she holds American nationality. She’s an actress, who’s perhaps known best for her portrayal of Lisa Davis in the war action series “SEAL Team”, created by Benjamin Cavell, and which stars David Boreanaz, A. J. Buckley and Max Thieriot. It has been airing since 2017, following the lives of members of the US Navy SEALs, and has been nominated for three awards including two Primetime Emmys.
Is she leaving “SEAL Team”?
Since 2019, here have been rumors circulating the internet that Toni’s planning to leave the cast of “SEAL Team”, however, these are false, as she’s still shooting for the series as of March 2021.
Early life, parents and education
Toni was raised alongside her two older brothers in Manistee, Michigan by their divorced parents Lee and Mary, about whom nothing is known as they prefer to stay away from the media’s attention.
She became interested in acting while attending a local elementary school, and Toni appeared in a couple of school plays in which she portrayed several lead characters. She enrolled at a local high school, and there became more serious about acting. Toni appeared in various theatre plays during the following four years, and upon matriculating in 1998, enrolled at the University of Michigan’s School of Music, Theatre & Dance, from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre in 2001.
She also studied theatre at London’s Marymount College in England.

She made her debut film appearance with her portrayal of Sarah in the 2001 short drama “Drive”. In 2006, she was cast to play Noni in the fantasy science fiction comedy “If You Lived Here, You’d Be Home Now”, but which failed to attract a lot of attention. Some of Toni’s following roles were in the 2007 crime drama “Weapons”, the 2008 comedy “The Life and Times of Marcus Felony Brown”, and the 2009 action adventure horror “Star Runners”.
She gained recognition in 2010, when cast to play Libby Lam in the family musical comedy “StarStruck”, co-starring Sterling Knight, Danielle Campbell and Maggie Castle, and which follows Jessica Olsen while on a trip with her family to California to visit her grandmother; the movie was nominated for two awards.
Toni then went on to play supporting characters in several hit movies, such as the 2012 fantasy comedy “Ruby Sparks”, the 2012 adventure fantasy drama “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2”, and the 2014 family comedy “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day”.

Toni made her debut TV series appearance in 2005, with her portrayal of Terri in ten episodes of the comedy “Barbershop” and two years later she was cast to play Michele in five episodes of the comedy “All of Us”.
She gained recognition in 2012 when invited to portray Cyndi Vega, one of the lead characters in the drama “Made in Jersey”, created by Dana Calvo and which also starred Erin Cummings, Felix Solis and Janet Montgomery. It follows a woman who’s working at one of the best law companies in New York. The following years saw Toni play supporting roles in various series, such as the comedy “The Soul Man”, the science fiction drama “Do No Harm”, and the mystery thriller drama “Hostages”. In 2014, she was cast to play one of the lead characters, Anita Haskins in the crime comedy “Franklin & Bash”, created by Kevin Falls and Bill Chais, and which also starred Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer. It follows two lawyers and best friends who have been hired by one of the most powerful law companies in the US; the series was nominated for two awards.
The year 2016 saw her play CGIS Agent Joan Swanson in three episodes of the popular mystery crime drama “NCIS: New Orleans”, while one of Toni’s most recent roles in TV series has been her portrayal of Karen James from 2018 to 2020 in the comedy “Corporate” which starred Matt Ingebretson, Adam Lustick and Jake Weisman, and follows the life of a man working at a multi-national company.
Toni was featured in the 2005 documentary movie “Barbershop: A Little Off the Top” and the 2005 documentary mini-series “The 100 Most Unexpected TV Moments”.

Toni’s very secretive when it comes to her love life and hasn’t mentioned any men she has perhaps been with, however, it’s known that she was once in a relationship with John Wernke.
Wernke’s an actor with eight film and TV series credits to his name, while he’s probably known best for his portrayal of Jake in the 2018 comedy series “Awkwardly” for which he and his colleagues won a Global Film Festival Award for Best Ensemble Cast.
Toni hasn’t spoken about any other men she has perhaps been with, and there are rumors circulating the internet claiming that she’s either a lesbian or bisexual. Many believed that her relationship with John was only to help hide the truth about Toni’s sexual orientation, however, she hasn’t commented on this, and no evidence has been provided to support these claims.

Hobbies and other interests
Toni’s a philanthropist, who has worked with various charity organizations to help improve the quality of life of underprivileged children and war veterans. She’s an activist who today supports the movement Black Lives Matter, and she’s also interested in politics, and is fighting to forever remove the death sentence.
One of Toni’s main hobbies is tasting various cuisines, and she combines this with her passion for travelling.
She’s been to various US states as well as a couple of European countries including Italy as she loves to eat pizza and spaghetti, and France as she likes the French croissants. Toni’s favorite food is chocolate, especially the brand ‘Cioccolato di Modica’, which she tried for the first time in Sicily, Italy where it’s made.
She’s keen on working out and has several training sessions at the gym each week, thus her fit body.
Toni has her own favorite actors and actresses, some of whom are Christian Bale, the late Heath Ledger and Maggie Gyllenhaal, and some of her favorite movies are “The Dark Knight”, “Brokeback Mountain” and “Donnie Darko”.
